If you have a heat lamp, put that on her. Not too hot, just enough to keep her warm. I'm not sure what you do in addition to that....it is more of a waiting game now. If that helps or she recovers some on her own, you will have to give her water. I would not do it now while she is stressed though.

I've emptied her crop, and she's warm, I'll stick a tube down her later of water and yogurt and do a couple of flushing before that...that seems to be what other threads have said, does anyone else have experience with this?

Cheryl it sounds crazy, but I've seen this and I tore up pieces of bread and poured oil and red wine on it, then fed it. Almost always. First time bill saw me do it it thought I was nuts. I told him if it didn't work that maybe the wine would at least easy the pain. Well it worked and I still have a bottle of wne he got me for the birds in case it happened again. Still haven't used up the first bottle, but I've only lost one doing this.

WALT!!!!

You are my hero!!!!

I learned to drive on the Indy track when I was 12! I love cars! Used to work on them, but not these new fangled things, although I wish I did, I'd work on mine.

Beautiful car!!!!!

Cheryl I sure hope you can get her past this. I'm so sorry she's sick. Good luck with treating her.

To work on that black car you need a laptop computer. There are 35 computers in that car. To race it I have to disconnect the fuse for the stop lights lights, otherwise I can't put the brake and gas on at the same time. When you take out the fuse, the main computer can be fooled. The average person can no longer work on their own car.
They don't need as much work as the old ones though.

Welcome San Lorenzo,
More & more people who live in "town" are keeping chickens. I am sure some people close by will chime in. If not Jeremy is right in Oakland & not far from San Lorenzo & he has some beautiful birds. AAs far as choosing breeds....good luck with that. I want them all, well not all of them but waaaaaaaay too many. The internet has so much information you can research according to what you are looking for in a breed.

Cheryl,
So sorry Cheryl.................. I hope she pulls through. I have no experience with it or would gladly help. I have alot of them in moult right down & just trying to bide my time & get through it.

Walt, as I said I am a wimp. I have a nephew that did stock car races in Stockton & I couldn't even watch him. I had a uncle, Chuck Billington that raced all over, formula cars, Nascar, Salt lake speeds etc...I used to watch when I was young but grew fearful as I got older. I can get excited now on the simple things in life on a daily basis.

Kim, I have more quail eggs do you need some for your incubators????? Let me know. BTW when I was young (17 & living in Oakland) I worked on cars too. My them boyfriend was in school competetions.
