Well still no answer on my thread about corn stalks and rabbits. I did cut a bunch up and have them drying. The rabbits loved the very top that looks seedy and they're all nibbling at the stalks. Just hope drying and saving is a good I idea.
I used 2 feed bags and a bag from the rabbit pellets and Makayla and I separarted the stalks, leaves and the poofy tops (for lack of knowing what they're called) and once I know for sure zI'm doing this right, I'll have them all in different bags. Saving the leaves for them to eat and to maybe use in the coops or runs. They have lots more next door. The pile is about 12-14 feet long and probably 6 feet high. If I can find a use for them I'll take them all.
OH and since Halloween was always our couples holiday I'm going to use a few for decorations. Nothing elaborate in this neighborhood since it would probably be stolen ot trashed. Last year I barely got into the holiday since he wasn't here, but this year I want to do something.
