BB guns & mini bikes

I wasn't talking about you Ralphie.

I am him...

The Dr keeps saying I am not him. But he is wrong..
Maybe piano wire - kinda neck height and give the bike the full beans? Just remember, if you don't succeed, try, try again.

I find it amazing how tight knit and encouraging we can be to each other. Even to the point of helping one achieve his goal after a set back...

Forgot the BB gun!!!

So does it ride well? Does it have plenty of power? Is it something I need? Could you call my DW and tell her I need it?

Does it have a weight limit? (incase I want her to ride behind me on my new "hog" if she lets me get it)

AWESOME! (Why is the Easy Rider song playing in my head?)

Heck, I have a bb gun (plus a couple "real" ones). Every kid should have a bb gun, no matter how old the kid is. I took mine out after the neighbor's peacock last week, darned thing didn't want to get out of the goat corral. Only took about 15 bb's and a big stick to get rid of it.

You have fun with your new toys Joe!

It doesn't ride so bad, you might need one, it has plenty of power if you tap into it, the specs rate it at like 200-250 I think for a weight limit.
It does fine just as it is, but it's also like a blank canvas where the mods can go on forever.

So far, I've mounted a crate where the rear fender was. I was hoping my dog Abby would like riding in the crate, but she'd rather ride up front. She thinks it's hers, and gets quite curious about what I'm doing when I take it into the shop.

Next, I padded the gas tank with carpet for a better grip for her.
It moves along ok, but I wanted a bit more (who doesn't?) So I opened the carb wide up, but left the governor alone.I don't have a speedometer, but it goes!

Then I switched out the centrifugal clutch for a torque converter. The bike makes a whole lot less racket, is smoother, has more power, and more speed. (it's just fast enough now)

Then I took the seat that was rubber knob mounted to the frame, and made up a spring assembly for it instead. Much better ride now.

The current job is paint, and I'm almost done. The only thing is, is that I can't decide whether to keep the green frame, or go black.

Here's a few pics:

If course, Abby and I.

This is what it looked like when it came home.

This is what it looks like right now. It's almost finished. I'll take a good pic when it's done. Lots of parts to put back yet.

So people, 2 choices. Leave the green, or paint it black?
