BCM cockerals or pullets?

These two are about 7 weeks or so. I cant tell if they are male or female. At 3 weeks they showed signs of male since their combs and waddles were so much bigger than the others. But now I'm not sure if they both are males because they have different color pattern. I heard BCM males and females at this age will look different based on the color. One is obviously black while the other has a lot of copper leaking through.

I think they said BCM Blue copper Maran or Black copper Maran

I was told they are BCM. Who knows though? I've never had them.

I was told Black Copper Maran. Do they appear to be not pure bred? I like them anyways, but I'd like to know.

Slate legs and pink feet indicate Marans. One on the right has feathered shanks = French. He's a little over colored his chest but that might molt out. He's stocky like my boy Kong....which is a good thing, btw.
Can't see leg feathering for the one on left. Not much copper yet, maybe a late bloomer. Another pic of him would help.
