Hello! I have 7 BCM chicks, with 2 being a week older than the others and I'm trying to figure out if they are all actually girls. The breeder did sex them, but some of the combs are so much larger and pink! I'm confused. Could it be the age difference? I will post pictures.

How old are they? How did the "breeder" sex them?

Depending on age, I'm only seeing one pullet.
She did say that they were already sexed, but the 2 larger ones where almost 2 weeks older than the others. I sure hope there is more than 1 pullet! Lol

But then, what's the age of the younger ones? ETA With the lack of full feathering they can't be older than 6 weeks, and I would guess closer to 4 weeks.

The age difference does make a difference in their comb sizes. My 3 BCM hens worried me at first. They all seemed roos to be roos, just by their comb size and color compared to my other breeds the same. BCMs seem to be more roo looking earlier than others, and it can be quite confusing, scary, and intimidating. They turned out to be 100% all hens tho!
