Be Honest, How Many of You Have...

LOL this will end up being a lonnnnnngggg thread, I swear almost anyone who's raised anything is going to have to "fess up". And yeah kittens, puppies, chicks, baby birds, baby rabbits, the list is longer than I can remember.

Really must be a "chick" thing...thankfully I don't wear a bra (I'm a big fella, but not that big, not to mention the therapy my kids would need), but I can honestly say I have never put an animal under any article of clothing for warmth. I have warm hands, and I have been known to hold a critter for hours to keep them toasty, but thats about as close as it gets...

No chicks....yet, but a single orphaned kitten. I got the call around 4pm and had already promised the kids a trip to the drive-in theatre. Too cold for a day old kitten without littermates to go without extra heat and we were going to be gone too long for him to go without a feeding so.....

I am a guy, and do it if I pull a chick out and it looks like it is getting cold. If I didnt have work and school I would be wearing a chick or chicken 24/7

Quail chick, in a $250 piece of underpinning. I was dressed to go out, and he hatched late (as in was pipping after i'd shut off the bator and was tossing out duds). Brand new wet chick in a hanky.

I did and he is still alive! Although quite unusual he did not feather out properly. I am assuming due to his stress from shipping.

No chicks, but I did pick up a litter of tiny baby kittens that someone dumped off by the highway. I was on my motorycle, so i tucked in my shirt and stuffed 4 lil black kittens in my shirt and drove them to my house. Fortunantly I wasn't but a mile from home. A couple of them tried to climb out the top, so I had to ride one handed for a bit, I couldn't just leave them there, they would have certainly been ran over. Poor things! Irresponsible loosers that dumped them!
