Beagle lovers out there

What a lot of cuties, but then I've never seen a beagle that wasn't!

Of course, I am a bit prejudiced toward them! It's hard to be mad at them when they look at you with their sweet little faces, even when they're standing in the middle of the table with casserole all over their guilty little face

Anyone else have "counter surfers"? Our Casey will climb up the bar stools and onto the counter for any thing that even remotely resembles food.

I had a beagle not that long ago. After we ate supper and everything was taking off the table and put on the counter. I just stepped out for a minute if that. I would catch her jumping up and checking the counter. If something was close enough she would jump and grab and jumb and grab until she got. I caught her in the act.Needless to say . I no longer have her. . The ones that are need for a new home. As a rule ,there some behaviors with them. My 2 beagls.I raised them. As i was home all day to do so.I have to say. I have no problems with them. I can leave them out of the gate and call them back. They will come. But it wasnt like that at first. They would dig under the fence every chance they got. They dont anymore. I solve that problem. I didnt want a dead dog on the road. So i put up a electric fence up for one day. That was it. That all it took.....Now every one is happy.

as mentioned in another post, mine knows how to open the dishwasher and use it as a step ladder, she also opens the fridge, we had to put on a child lock. Most recently she tried to jump on the stove and turned on the gas so we removed the knobs, whats next?

I saw a thing on America's Funniest Home videos once that showed a beagle pushing a wheeled dining chair to a counter to get on it. They are not stupid dogs by any means!

I hear ya shelleyd2008. My beagle trixie helps me find where the hens are laying, and in return she gets an egg to eat.

I have Elliot the antique Beagle,, he is over 25 years old, spoiled rotten, and stubborn as a mule. I'll get his pic tomorrow if I can remember that far,,,,, CRS you know!

I think my beagle has CRS because she will chase our jack russle around the yard, sit down, and cock her head as if she is trying to remember what she is doing.

I 100% agree, they are adorable!!! I have never owned one or really been around them but I have always wanted one...a female! They are sooo cute!

Agreed. I have been raising beagles since I was 8 yrs old (took 4 years off when I joined USMC). I have been lowering my numbers over the last few years and only have 4 beagles currently. I had to stop wanting to keep a pup every litter:) Down to 2 males and 2 females. I am quite proud of myself:)

Love all the beagle pics! Beagle lovers unite! This is my beagle baby Emma she's a beagle/whippet mix
