Not sure what is wrong with my Silkie. It almost looks like the beak has been chipping off and her nostrils are covered? The skin above her beak looks bad.

Does she put her beak through metal fencing, or could she be running into some after being chased? What type of feeder do you have? It should heal, but I would make sure that she is not injuring it, or she could fracture it or break it off. That would be hard to recover from.

Just one of those hanging ones that spill out on the bottom. I included a picture of it before this reply. Should I quarantine her? If so, should I put anything on it like Hen Healer Multi Purpose Ointment? Vetericyn? Iodine?
