Walter and Edna
Black Quail Bearded D'anver
Beautiful mine are little demons to my wyandotte
These two are on the bottom of the pecking order. 3 Guineas, 6 regular hens, 4 banty hens then them. I thought about throwing them in with the quail just to know what it was like to be on the top of the pecking order
These were my first chickens
This is the first breeding pair I am attempting at.
I was thinking of getting a rooster but I just dont have the time for baby chicks
I am hoping that I will have the time... I am trying 6 eggs under my broody bantams (in my picture) to see how good of mothers they will be So i am trying 4 mutt eggs and 2 heritage Delawares that a friend gave me. Here is to good broody hens I hope...
Cool, hopefulley they are mine are really broody.
Is this the time for broody hens or are they early for the season of baby hatching?
