Update:

Last night they got into the compost of one neighbor, and the trash of another who said all four of them were looking in her window. They didn't come here, though, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.


ETA I told my vet about the minimal reaction to the sting of the birdshot, and he said "It's an animal that thinks eating bees is fun."

What does red pepper do to bears? I have never had to deal with bears and my chickens but i did have a cougar that my roo fended off last year. the cougar has since been sent to frezzer camp by the Wildlife Department
