This rooster is a cross between a blue Plymouth rock roo and Easter Egger hen - from halo's eggs, hatched May 19-20 from a beautiful blue egg. Very beautiful, lustrous black feathers with blue/green iridescence. He has puffy cheeks and a beard. I need to find a new home for him - not the pot - I already know someone that wants him for that! I'll drive a little way to meet you if need be to rehome him.
Photos taken a couple of weeks ago - will post more recent ones soon. His feathering is more mature now - longer tail and saddle feathers.
