Beautiful Molt Transformation Mottled Java

I would love to find some Mottled Javas. I live in NE Kansas and would hope to find them in a 3 or 4 state area. Eggs might work, but I'd have to set up for them.

My goodness.. I had to share these photos taken today while pulling maintenance on the farm.
We breed a variety of types of poultry but by far my favorite full breed are Mottled Java Chickens.
Our breeders just finished a molt and one of them transformed into a beautiful almost opposite pattern.

These are photos of our typical Female Mottled Javas.

Here is the Transformation Pullet. The colors are backwards. Mostly white with little black color.

The photos don't do the beauty any justice right now. I just took the pics and the Sun is low and too bright. The color blend is truly breathtaking. Remember, she was almost completely black prior to the recent molt.

If anyone else has these particular birds, please post photos.
Just Mottled Javas please. I am curious if their are possible variations of these beautiful creatures..

Like you, I love the more salt and pepper all over mottled. It seems my chicks, 13 weeks old now, have gotten darker so I am hoping for that transformation after the first moult also.

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago has a farm exhibit and of course the most popular display is the incubator/hatcher with Java eggs/newly hatched chicks.
Sometimes there are 3 different colors, one of them being mottled. I understand a farmer who breeds Javas lets the museum borrow eggs for the exhibit. After they are hatched the farmer takes the chicks and replace with new fertile eggs. It's always my favorite spot at the museum.
