5 Year’s ago my son built my first coop. And we got 4 pullets.
About a year or two later, got 4 barred rock hens from a military friend who was moving. And had to buy a second coop. Which came with a bantam hen.
Lost some of the old ladies over a few years.
Left with only 4 hens. 4-6yrs old.
And last fall, was given 11 chicks from my coworker. And 7 were cockerels. So 4 were rehoused. And then I got 4 red sex links from feed store.
Now we have 15. I got a still air LG incubator and hatched 3. Put in 13 more eggs, just to see what happens. You know.
Then lost two in same week, one to a hawk and a boy to unknown cause. And one of my girls went broody! So she has 7eggs.

Needless to say we needed more coop space. So built this for the goats that are coming and a coop for more chicken space!
