This is soooooooooooo easy & makes a wonderful bread.
Like a quick bread, but with a nice tight crumb for sandwiches & toast.
And the crust - thanks to that melted butter - is crunchy & yum-a-licious : 9
I cut the sugar, as alabama49 suggested, to 1/4 cup + 2T and next time may just use the 1/4 cup if I'm not making a sweet version.
I am making a loaf tomorrow to bring to a friend's on Friday - this one will have grated cheddar & fresh chives in it.
