I want to raise enough birds to get about 30-40 eggs a day. I have a pasture with a few cows in it. I live in NY near Albany, it gets pretty cold in the winters. I would like to have mobile coop. I really have no idea what I'm doing. Can anyone help direct me to a good place to understand what I would need to know to get started with this. There is a lot out there but its hard to sift through it and know what to do. Anyone with experience with similar operation?
Thanks

Hey I live in n.y. near Catskill and have an old trailer/mobile home for sale for dirt cheap .. Its 10' wide and approx 40' long ... That would house 30-40 chickens with ease ..

Yes I have.
I am wanting to have an egg mobile but does is there another good source to educate me as to just how to go about this kind of chicken raising. I want to understand really what I need to do this spring or sooner.

I'm going to do the same. Try this site. It's terrific and I think much better than small tractors
