Hello and welcome to BYC!

Quail are so much fun to keep! So much personality in a tiny package. Give them plenty of space and don't crowd them, use bedding instead of wire for flooring, feed them a good diet somewhere around 24 to 26 percent protein, and DEFINITELY feed them a variety of veggies, greens and seeds. Quail need trace minerals and micro nutrients not found in formulated feed. Quail can live twice their life expectancy by providing these extras and the huge spaces.
