Behavior of Mille Fleur D'Uccle Bantams?

My Roo has Little mans syndrome and hits hard, he has always had an attitude!
My hens are flighty, and have never let me hold them, they will eat out of my hand but pretty much want nothing to do with me!

I've heard they are the nicest, most docile breed. Is this true?

Are they kid-friendly and won't peck?

Mine have been horribly aggressive, the hen is flighty but calmed down after she started laying...but she attacks all other chickens no matter what hens and giant rosters absolutely no fear of losing. My rosters are the devil birds constantly attacking me or the other chickens....never again will I get d'uccles but that being said they are gorgeous.
