I think if the evil one is a roo his days are definitely going to be numbered. I have been anxious about the thought of 'harvesting' our first chickens this year but if he/she keeps attacking us I don't think we will feel too bad! When he/she was dangling off my lip this morning it was hard not to get very angry

and I have lot's of patience when it comes to my animals !!

Sheesh! That is the "stink eye" in the first picture, for sure! You can, of course, try to tame "him", but you said yourself that you will eventually "harvest" the roosters. Maybe do what you have to do now? Easy for me to say, of course, this would be totally difficult for me. I'd probably try to tame it, too. I mean, I'm the one who tried to save a new-hatch that was nearly pecked to death by momma - bloody, raw, with internal organs hanging out.
I have heavily depended on advice from these good folks on the forum. and I've never been steered wrong. You should, too.

With that much comb, I'd bet "she's" a "he". I have to say, he's got moxie to be so little and so determined. Are you sure he's not part shark? Snapping turtle, maybe?

I was wondering too if "she" was actually a "he" and protecting his very scared girls. My Red Sex Link girl is a brat and will lunge at my face if I am sitting down near them. She is 14 weeks now and is very bold. I pop her on the head (very gently) and shove her away when she does that, it is very scary!! and she hurts!!

This young cockeral has the warrior gene and needs to be culled asap. I've had one or two of those and as soon as the other chicks start developing facial features ie comb and wattles, the warrior chick start going after them.

When he/she goes out with your other chickens - I'm thinking he/she may get whats coming to him/her? What do you think? Still new at this but even so sounds like if its a roo he won't be on the bottom of the order for long. My Buff orpington was so sweet and used to jump on top of the water bottles to say hello when I came to the box. She let me pet her and was so sweet. Since she joined the older ones in the coop - she's now pecking at me! Little bugger!
