Belgian Bearded Mille Fleur d'Uccles? PICS pg 7

Wow! I didn't know that. So interesting. Double tears (black and white). Hmmm.
My boys I don't think have that much double tearing on the feathers but do have the muffs and beards.
My one rooster has mostly white with gray tail feathers.
This is French Fry he has the gray tail feathers and more white than black.

This is Egg McMuffin who has the black/green iridescent tail feathers.
I don't care that they are not considered show quality. They are sweet birds.

It's hard to tell from your pics. She doesn't show much feathering on her legs either. I don't see the beard feathers. She could be a cross.

Sorry. She is very Pretty for a girl. I love the black and brown. Once she matures she should get white tips with the black. My boys are heavily feathered on the hocks and feet. They will be a year on Feb. 19.

Does anyone on here have hatchling pics of different booted and bearded chicks with what color they end up being? I just got to new chicks from the assorted bantam bin at TSC and I think one may be a mille fleur but can not really tell.....I do know that he/she is bearded and looks so adorable!!! can't wait for them to grow! I know they came from Murray McMurray hatchery and their assorted can include them or even porcelain....

Thanks for any help

Delawaremommy,
I did the same thing, I got 6 straight run banthams from TSC in april. 4 turned out to be roos & 2 hens - I think 1 is a mille fleur, she has feather legs though. She is beautiful (to me), although I cant get anywhere near her. The other hen follows me around and eats out of my hand - I call her Peachy because of her color.

I just got a millie chick, about 5 weeks old. SO ADORABLE!!

She/he follows around my golden laced cochin bantam everywhere he/she goes.

Here are some Millies, mixed in with Black Mottles and Golden Necks.... You can see the well defined muffs and beards even at this age.
