I think the problem you'd have at 8 weeks would be that they'd be so busy growing bigger that there wouldn't be a lot of meat on them. Anyway, the last ones we had were like that. At 14-16 weeks when you can butcher the hybrids the heritage breeds were still gangly and bony looking.
 
so do you think that a hybrid (what kind) would be best for some one who can only keep them for 8-10 weeks tops? I want to raise some turkeys but cant keep them long in my set up.... so whatcha think fellas!!!!
 
You would be looking at a Broad Breasted type. BBW or BBB any of the heritage breeds would be way way to small

Anybody that purchases these eggs will not be dissapointed. I have two pairs of Beltsville whites from Steve and Sharon. They are my favorite breed perfect size and personality.
