DH was thrilled with his lunchbox. He was really excited to see what he had for lunch today. It doesn't matter if it was made for kids, I fit 2 sandwiches, chips, carrots & ranch dressing, string cheese, water and an ice pack in there for him. Perfect size, even for adults.

I went to the grocery store tonight and picked up ingredients for the cold peanut butter pasta from the book...it sounded delicious.

Now Sterling, how and where do you fit an ice pack in there??

OK, I'll come clean and show my new haul, from Ebay. Bella has wanted those shaped onigiri boxes for a long time, and I just couldn't find them anywhere else.

The one in the front right is MINE.

I don't have it showing the double layer, but it is a two-tiered box. The second picture is a closeup of the text on the top, which cracks me up in about a thousand different ways, from "putifresh" to "lube sheep" to "happy fruits."

I will become fortunate all together!

Wow! That's a lot of pictures!
I paid about $2.50 extra for shipping so I should hopefully have my stuff by the end of this week. The stuff I bought on Ebay has already shipped. That's the molds. Some CT BYCers just ordered quail. I'm hoping they plan to keep some so I can buy eggs from them!

I have to say this is my all time favorite thread. Healthy food, cute kids, helpful advice. It doesn't get any better. It does have eggs in it so it is chicken related.

Oh man, now that I have an egg mold or three coming, I've got Purple Chicken trying to talk me into getting some quail! All I did was ask the CT folks who just ordered and hatched a bunch if they'd sell me eating eggs once in a while. Now I've got my name on three Freecycle lists looking for a used rabbit hutch! I have Bento Fever!! Call a doctor someone, quick!
