I have a coturnix chick with wry neck, what can I give it to help? What should I look for in something like Nutri drench? Or can somebody recommend something?

I used some vitamin B1 from health leads. They are one of the few vitamin manufacturers in the UK to add no additives but they do a complete B vitamin pill with all 8 B-vitamins (twice as expensive) that should be best.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Capsules-P...health+leads+vitamin+b1&qid=1623741701&sr=8-5

Or just get the B1 vitamin (I added a bit of crushed up multivitamin pill to supplement it)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vitamin-Th...health+leads+vitamin+b1&qid=1623742042&sr=8-6

Be aware that one pill is 90 x a humans' daily requirement and although it is hard to give too much in such a concentrated form it is very easy.

A chick probably needs 50 times less so one pill is enough for roughly 450 chicks so be very sparing and only sprinkle a little bit of powder (after opening up a capsule) into some water.

I saved a chick with wry neck and it started showing improvements 6 hours after taking the vitamin and was better within 3 days.

Thank you!

I hope its able to recover for you.

I should have elaborated that I did look for an equally good product but could not find one. If you have multivitmins on hand, check that they contain thiamine (vit B1) which is what your chick is lacking and feed some of that for now.

I have never dealt with Wry-neck in my flock, but I have administered vitamins to some sick chickens in the past. These were full grown chickens BTW. I cooked up a packet of Ramen noodles. I crushed them before cooking. (I used only the noodles, and not the flavor packet) The noodles cook like in 3 minutes. Into the noodle and water mixture, I crushed 1/2 of a people One-A-Day vitamin. Mixed until all dissolved. The chickens gladly ate the noodle mixture. That was just the easiest medium I found that chickens liked. The condition improved in my chicken in 3 days, so I stopped giving then.
If your quails' wry-neck is due to vitamin deficiency, this may help it out. Obviously your quail, will not eat the 2 cups worth of the Ramen noodle soup, so the little that he eats, should not be an overdose on vitamin ether.
Here is a link to some alternative ways to feed the vitamin deficiency naturally, (different vegetables)

Good informative reading.

B1 (thiamine) is part of treatment for Wry Neck, but you also need to add in Vitamin E.

I would recommend that you get 400IU Vitamin E gel caps and a bottle of human B-Complex tablets.
Give your bird 400IU E daily along with 1/4 B-Complex. Offer her a little scrambled egg daily as well, this is good for the uptake of E and most birds love eggs too.
