Best bedding for ducks?

I was referring to outside in the run.

The hay that i use is local stuff so it's very soft prarie-type grass hay. I do also use shavings, my run is covered with a big tarp but it is still exposed in a few areas.

The sawdust i would be getting from the mill is just in a huge building off the ground (forgot what its called!) that's why they only do it by truckloads... they have to open the trap and let it ALL fall into the truck bed and if it werent a BIG dump truck, the truck would for sure be burried! lol.

Make sure you know what they are cutting. Once someone offered sawdust and wood shavings to me from his (professional) wood shop. Well, he also cuts plywood sheets; and plywood has GLUE in it--just a little, but you don't want even a bit of glue going down your babies' throats--at least I don't.
