We get raw bones from our local commissary. They clean the outside and get all the marrow out. Then they carry the leftover bone around for months until I throw it away.
I don't give them rawhide because they can cause a blockage. Same with a Greenie. So those are banned.
I also do not use bones that have been smoked. I've seen those splinter from a strong chewer. A dog can swallow faster than you can take away.
Your smaller dog would enjoy a bully stick. They would probably last all of 5 minutes with your other two.

for your dogs bones i would get cow Knuckle bones from the butch from the food store you could cook them up but i don't i have them chew them on a bare floor until u don't see the red meat on it
or get a bones with the marrow in it that is at least 6 inch long after they eat it out u can fill it up with peanut butter or other treats in it.
when they chew it down half way then throw it away

rawhide does swell up in the dog stomach they can cause a blockage have it surgery to remove it

I'm having a problem with some smoked bones i got recently. They seem to be chipping of pieces as they are chewing them...
Worried about their stomach getting punctured... its actually little sharp pieces of bone being chipped off...
should i take them away or what? They love them though..
