Best breed for egg laying?

My RIR gives me a Large or Jumbo egg daily, even thru the reduced light of fall/winter, though some are now mediums. For 2 months they were all double yolks as well.

My Red Sex-link gives me a Medium egg a day.

I'm not impressed by my ISA Brown.

My best layers by far are my Black & Red sex links, they were bread to lay, I am really happy with their performance.

Our older hens are all RIR, BR, 1 BO, welsummer, EE, and a little one with a funky head poof, not sure what she is, lays pink eggs though.

We have some RIR's that should start laying anytime (my sisters fav) and We've got some 2 SLW, 1BR, 1 red star(mistaken for a RIR), and 2 leg horns I had to have even though no one else wanted them, i think theyre just gorgeous (Leggy & Peggy).

after seeing how the red star's colors finished out i got another one from the feed store last month, she was the biggest one in the brooder with a bunch of black sex link babies, she looked liek a monster

, her name is beast, shes still the biggest.

Our girls always slow down a lot during the winter, this ones been especially bad since it was their first molt. we're getting a random 3 or less eggs a week right now....the banties must be on strike, havent had an egg in weeks.

I appreciate evryones help, we were planning on getting a couple young pullets from someone we just bought eggs from, i think theyre black/red sex link/BO mix ups, maybe some EE, she had a lot of muffed hens in that coop

What's everyone's opinion on Speckled Sussex? I really love the way they look and was thinking of getting a couple..

My Barred Rock laid 251 eggs this past year. That sounds pretty good to me. I have 2 RIR, 2 black Orps, Buff orp, 1 Barred Rock. I can tell the Barreds eggs from the others because hers have a whitish look. I wish I had a Wellsummer hen. The eggs I've seen from them are really brown. My Barred Rock probably laid a couple more because she got out twice over night. I thought she was a goner but she appeared the next morning. My hens were hatched April 2007. I like all my breeds. The quiet one are the black orps.
