Best breed of chicken thats friendly and easily handled?

Small, basically a midget chicken.

Would they pair well with a regular size rooster? Still a newbie here. I don't know all the rules yet.

Min live with standard hens and Roos, they’ll breed fine with a standard roo.

I really like my splash marans and Araucana gals. But they're a bit harder to find. I was really lucky

SILKIES are my favorite breed!! They are so sweet! They are also bantams

Silkies, Orpingtons, and especially Barred Rocks have been the friendliest in my opinion! But it doesn't matter the breed, really, it is how they have been handled and treated as chicks.

Speckled Sussex hens! Also French Marans, Buckeyes, and some Easter Eggers. Our bantam Belgian d'Uccles and bantam EEs have been sociable too.
New Hamps can be pretty dominant, so probably Salmon Favorelles won't do well with them. Also the Silkies might be overwhelmed.
Order some chicks that look interesting and see how they do!
