Best coop decor?

You're not helping me here......if I end up with a Legocoop it won't be my fault!

Hey try Hobby Lobby they had a lot of cute things. You might go there and see if you get inspired. Also check flea markets for stuff.

That's a great idea! They usually have some cute farm stuff.

So far, I've gotten a willow tree to plant for shade (there's not any available right now), and I've semi-planned the flower beds surrounding the coop. I may do the window flower boxes bc those are always cute. I also saw a tiny square mailbox with a fleur de lis on it that I'm pretty sure my hens are going to want...

I love the fleur de lis! I got this basket yesterday for gathering eggs. (Like any O' basket wouldn't have worked.

Lol I read on a site to plant grapes as a vine to provide shade so I may do that on the arch trellas. I'm glad you said something about poisonous because there is a lot if stuff that is. But they can even eat the grapes on these so I'm thinking I will try that. May have to put some hardware cloth around it untill it gets growing well. I can't remember where you live but first Monday in Canton Texas is a ginormous craft/flee market type thing. They have anything from junk to hand crafted really nice things. I'm going to go the next couple if months and just plunder for stuff for my coop. It's a sickness!!!
I love the window planter idea! I'm just ready to get my coop finished so my thoughts can work to gather with the finished product. But my hubby works 14 n 14 and this is his 14 away! Oh well back to idea shopping!

That basket is adorable! I need something like that because we are planning to make the basket of eggs a useful decoration on our kitchen island. (Assuming the cat will leave them alone!)
You said before you've grown Bougainvillea, and as it happens, that was the climbing plant my husband picked out, so I'm probably going to try it too! Does it climb well? I'm thinking of training it to one side of the coop, but I have a feeling it won't survive there unless it grows up out of the chickens' reach! I'm also planning in planting some tall bulbs around the base of the coop to give shade and encourage bugs. I figure if I plant them in rows, people won't notice the ones that are destroyed at the back, bahahaha.

Is Canton anywhere close to Louisiana? I'm in central MS, so a trip to Texas isn't out of the question!

Yes they can be trained to climb but beware they have thrones but they are beautiful. They like to be root bound. So I might cut the bottom off of the pot they come in but plant the pot and all. That way the roots can grow out the bottom when they get ready too. Fertilize with bloom boost one time and regular the next. To much boost and you get no leaves to much regular and you have no blooms. Lol
I'll post you a map of where Canton is.

Good thought on the fertilizers! I'm more of a vegetable/herb gardener, so I don't have a ton of experience with flowers! This bougainvillea had gorgeous variegated leaves, so I definitely wouldn't want to skimp there!

And Canton wouldn't be a bad drive at all! I live straight up 20 on the other side of Jackson, so the drive would be easy. Yay!
