Best dewormer to kill 4-6 inch worms?

The Equimax dose is ~0.032 ml per pound.

Five pounds get 0.16 ml
Seven pounds get 0.23 ml

The math formula for Equimax is weight of bird in pounds, divide by 2.2, times 10, divide by 140.3 = number of ml to give.
Does that make sense?

I ended up getting my
mom to help me with the math to figure out the dosages for each of the chickens and then it made sense to me as I stink at math and can’t do division. So since I don’t know the exact weight of each bird and am just guesstimating should I stick to the weights I guesstimate them to be which is for my 7 silkie hens 3ish lbs and my one silkie rooster which still needs weight put on as he was at one time
quite skinny as he also a month ago had mites..I got that taken care of so I think he is 5ish pounds and I think all my other roosters are 7ish pounds again they never been weighed and I don’t know how to weigh a chicken or a rooster as a result I’m just guesstimating all of my chickens weights. Also you wanted to let me know why equimax is safer to use than zimectrin gold which is why I chose to buy equimax over zimectrin gold. So I would appreciate an explaination to that as well since you originally promised me that? Thank you.

Let's say you have a 5 pound bird...

Equimax dose is 0.16 ml which contain ~23 mg praziquantel and 3 mg ivermectin.
Zimectin Golg dose is 0.3 ml which contains 23 mg praziquantel and 4.65 mg ivermectin

Ivermectin is very safe, but all veterinary formularies say the ivermectin dose for a 5-pound bird should be 0.45 mg to 2.3 mg. The Equimax dose is a little over 2.3, but I think it's still safe. The other at 4.65 mg is probably okay too, but I feel better about given something that is closer to the normal range.

Does that make sense?
