I think that's a great idea! Can you explain how they work vs the regular red feeders?

It looks similar to the chick feeders. I have quail eating out of chick feeders now and it seems to stave off waste. It's the chick feeder with the long metal trough and the top the snaps/slide on and it has hole for them to eat through.

It almost looks like this could be made at home with some PVC and a saw. Looks good and I'm glad you are happy with it.

James is a great guy! I have some of his line of Bobwhites and was thinking of getting a few of his coturnix. I forgot he made those feeders! LOLOL Great to see a review of them from a customer.
