Best Fox Bait??

I have been trying to trap a red fox using eggs and some of my dead chickens. He has out smarted me several times now. What is the best bait? Anyone had any luck? What sized trap did you use?

I trapped one a few years ago, with some of the dead chicks from an attack of the night before.

Is the fox attacking your chickens? Are you having a problem with him/her? If not, I would not trap but would leave that fox alone. I live with my resident foxes because they know not to attack chickens - if I got rid of them, they would just get replaced with another fox that may not "know" the boundaries.

The fox is attacking my chickens. My girls are free ranged and the fox tends to stop by for breakfast. I would like to relocate him or her.
