I am looking for Black and Blue Swedish and Cayuga ducks. I live near the IL/WI border. There is a hatchery in Freemont, WI: Purely Poultry. Cackle Hatchery has mixed feedback, and they are out of Swedish Ducks for the season. I have heard good things about Metzer Farms. I would like to buy from someone local who breeds ducks, but so far cannot find anyone near by. Only leads are hatcheries at this time. Thank you for any info or leads.

Purely poultry is a middle man I used them 2 yrs ago when ordering salmon Faverolles my chicks came from MO. arrived here in great shape and I would def rec them.

Ordered 3 Runner ducklings from Cackle back in Jan 2019 to be shipped in April they arrived and I lost 2 to shipping stress and almost lost the last 2 [they sent an extra with the order]. Can't rec. them

I've had very good luck with Metzer. They are a little pricey. I have lately been ordering from Ideal. They are good if you are not picky about breed specifics. My magpies are mostly black, my buff looks like a saxony, my Swedish has no bib. But they are all happy and healthy ducks.

IMG_0189.JPG I had 5 male Rouens and 1 female Rouen that were adults, they're all friends now.:)

As @Magnolia Ducks already said: Ideal Poultry's ducks won't satisfy you if you're looking for clean breeds and they also may send you crested ducks, but my one-time experience resulted in nine healthy, mean and cheeky ducks. I had ordered ten and all ten grew up fine but one was taken by a raccoon.
Metzer Farms has one of the best reputations in the market and the White Layers i've ordered from them grew like weeds. Sadly one arrived with a broken leg and i had to give it to a loving family to become a spoiled pet duck. Can't blame Metzer for that…
I heart good things about Meyer hatcheries in Ohio, that somewhat closer to IL.
