Bumping is a no-no

I guess just type something then don't write bump though.

I would get just a regular jersey heifer if were me.

Good luck!

If you want to milk, be very careful to get one with a good friendly nature, also make sure it has been well handled and not spookie or jumpie when handled. I think that applies to any breed, but I had trouble with a dexter, and dont take anyones word on it, make sure you see it handled, and then handle it your self. If you milk 2 times a day you want to be spending that time with a cow you like and get on well with .

good luck

If you aren't into milking, (a cow has to be bred to get milk, then be milked 1-2 times a day, then re bred), then perhaps get one as a pet. You can get bottle raised steers much cheaper, even get them already polled. They make nice pets... as far as the mini zebu. They have shows and things for them.

Oh but i do want milk and CREAM (

for ICE CREAM!) just not much more that our family would use. Big cows produce too much, and nobody here likes goat milk.

Q: what is the best companion for a miniature cow other than another cow? Goat, sheep, etc.?
