Best Raccoon-Proof Locks and Latches?

Yes, that will work. I have 2 on my run gate, one high and one lower, with a carabiner.

My coop/ run combination has actual doors, with lockable door knobs, We do lock them, and hang the keys on a nearby post. No raccoon will figure this out! Mary

I use these..

Just much bigger ones than in this picture. Spring loaded and I haven't had any problems.

The man who built my coop said if a toddler can open the lock, so can a raccoon. If you have a little one take him or her to the hardware store with you to try out some locks!
