We have rats.
In our house and I'm sure in our barn.
So what is the best way to get rid of the little buggers and keep them away. I don't want to use poison if I don't have to - I'm saving that as a last resort.
We don't have chickens yet, and I don't want to get any until I have this rodent issue under control.
I also hear that guinea fowl deter rodents, is this true?

We had a rat problem in a previous house and between the cat and our rottweiler, they got rid of them for us. We tried live traps and sticky traps but ended up with a sticky trap full of rat hair and they didn't go anywhere near the live traps. I wish you the best. Rats make me crazy!
