best way to transport roos to butcher?????

We use cardboard boxes and trash cans with holes in the lid. The chickens are very quiet in a dark place which makes it easier to transport.

Just started to say no....but there are some Amish that live fairly close buy and they have a produce stand in a nearby town. I will be in town tomorrow and will stop and ask them if they know anyone who would do it. That would be great!

Thank you so much. My husband is out of state working and I am here with 12 roosters at least that I can't rehome and don't have room for and are at the age where they need to be processed. May still have to do it myself but if I can find someone to do it for me then I KNOW I will be able to cook them!

Couldn't find anyone that could/would do it. My DSS and his friend and I are going to do it in the morning. The friend grew up helping his father process their chickens. I have read everything I could find. After separating the five roo's and putting them together tomorrow can't come soon enough for me. They were the most aggressive and they are now being mean to each other. Was feeling bad but now I am just ready to get it done! I will never buy straight run chicks again......
