I got rid of pasty butt today before it got them sick but I'm wondering the best way to get rid of it. I just got a warm, wet paper towel. It worked fine but I'm wondering if there's better ways and how any of ya'll do it.

Warm water butt bath is good.
May I ask what the temperature (exact) of your brooder is...too hot can be the cause of pasty butt.
There isn't one perfect temperature. If you are having issues with pasty butt try lowering the temp and see.That's interesting. I have some issues with pasty butt with my chicks as well. However I keep a close eye on the brooder temp and it's always perfect.
