I do know of the late folk artist, Beth Cummings.She was a self-taught artist and did country folk scenes. In the early 1980s, she and her husband sold her artwork at shows like the Country Peddler. I met them at a show in Arlington, Texas when I bought a couple of her works. They told me then that they lived in Yazoo City, Mississippi. She was a lovely and gracious lady - probably in her mid-30s then. A few years lady, I was at a mall that had a craft show going, and on display were some prints by Beth Cummings. The lady selling the prints was a personal friend of Beth Cummings, and she told me that Beth had passed away of cancer.
