Better start

We have new chicks! A few of you might remember last Summer my Cochin broody sat on six eggs nicely but then rejected all six as they hatched. All six survived, 3 boys and three girls. We kept one rooster (the handsome guy in my avatar) so fast forward to this year, and my chicks from last year just hatched out babies! She started out with 13 eggs, and only 3 hatched. Not the best numbers. But all three are healthy and the best part is mama hen is being a great mother! We also have a broody sitting on eggs and in 20 days, more chicks! A much better start than last year so I'm pleased. Now for pics

Nope, no pics yet. The entire web site has had a makeover. You may need to go here https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/conversion-problems-bugs-issues.16183/ and get some help. This is a whole new ball game to most of us.

Try doing this: See the three blue buttons below the reply window? Click on "Upload a file". That will call up your computer files.

Click on which file you want to download from, holding down the command key for multiple images. Then click "Open".

That will stick the image in the reply window. Then select either "Full image" or "Thumbnail". There will be the images in their full glory sitting in the reply for us all to enjoy!

Do you know what breed the one in the 4th picture is? One of our chicks looks just like it and I have no idea what ours are.
