Between Life and Death RP

~North looked up from his steaming coffee and swiveled around on his chair to face the woman who had spoken to him. "Hello," he replied, somewhat cautiously.~

Victoria looked at him she blinked and looked away.He seems harmless but....She stared out the window. It began raining and the rain splashed onto the roads and sidewalks,"Um, wonderful day I guess...."She said,"Or not!"

~Taquickar put out an arm to steady her. "You're not an inconvenience at all," he replied happily, but completely honest. "It's nice to have a companion. It gets eerily lonely sometimes as a Guardian."~

Melody was grateful when Taquickar offered his arm, she hadn't wanted to ask him because of her pride and she refused to discomfort him by reaching for it herself but now with a bit of his help she walked easily though the cluttered forest floor. "I do suppose you're right, you're the first Guardian I've spoke to in a while. I have to say I do agree that's it's nice to have a bit of company" she replies cheerfully

~Taquickar frowned and pulled away a curtain of brambles aside with his right arm so they could pass through them. "Guardians are too distant," he muttered, evoking his displeasure at their kind's distance. "That's when evil rises up- when we're not united. And are numbers are declining drastically to Fallen former Guardians." He bit his lip and carefully lead the shorter girl over a network of tricky above-ground roots. "I think one of the reasons so many are Falling is because of the stretched bonds between Guardians."~

~North had to laugh at the ironic weather change. "I've heard of rain dances, but never rain sentences!" He ran a hand through his scruffy, silver hair, smoothing it down neatly to his forehead. This woman seemed normal enough- surely she couldn't be a Fallen under disguise. All the same, he ran his gaze over her back, looking for any telltale bumps that would betray veiled wings. Seeing none, he let himself break out into a small smile. "I'm North, by the way." (I just realized it seems no one has last names here! :lau)

Melody listens to Taquickar as she makes her way carefully over the roots "I think you're right, it's becoming to easy for Guardians to fall now and it's becoming very concerning and a bit saddening. I think so many just stop caring, you wouldn't believe the amount of bitter Guardians I've ran into" she replies thoughtfully

"I'm Victoria,"Victoria smiled. She watched the door as a man came in.She quickly looked down, and looked at him, and then his back. She glanced up at North, there were visible wings curled underneath the mans jacket.Careful.Dont move, or talk.Just stay still.

"Well, my dad infected me on my 20th birthday, so about 9 months ago." Pryrus replied.~
"Wow, you're pretty young." Seldanna said with a slight chuckle. "I mean, compared to most Reapers I've fought. They're usually at least 1,000 years old or something along those lines, but they're probably all just lying because being old is probably cool to them."
"So, why did your dad infect you? Did you want to be a reaper?" Seldanna asked him gently, not really knowing what she wanted the answer to be.

~Taquickar swerved around a series of bramble bushes, gently herding Melody around them in his wake. "We've become loners. Bitter loners- reminiscent of Fallens almost."~

Melody frowns a bit "I don't understand how so many of us have accepted that, I will never become a pitiful Fallen, mindlessly killing for no reason. There's so much more to life than just death" she states a bit boldly
