Bev Davis Marans Question

I just got a big box of blrw eggs from Sue today.

I know someone else who has been on there since feb 08, so don't give up. I think Bev is doing the best she can.

There are some great breeders over on the Marans Chicken Club that got their stock from Bev, so once removed would be great.

Sally has Splashes and Blues.

I got beautiful eggs from Sterling Sue (copper blues and blacks) and was on her waiting list for 4 months or so.

Whitmorefarms starts his list in January or so. Check out his website.

I won't have any good stock until May or June, at the earliest, although I do have a trio that may start laying in January, but not sure how dark their eggs will be and the roo has a touch too much Copper, but they are beauties.

I honestly think there will be LOTS of great birds this spring.

Wheatens are my favorite color, too. I wish I had room for another color of Marans! SUCH beautiful and gentle birds, they are.

Im on her list for splash marans. I email her periodically to just confirm my interest. She emailed me back last week and said she wasnt happy yet with the egg color from the splash marans.
