I don't generally like the look of Muscovy Ducks. Lisa actually has ones that don't look so icky.

Ten different breeds. I liked Muscovy most because they made no noise for my husband

Muscovy are generally more mellow than mallard based breeds. 43 ducks is quite the handful regardless of what breed. I currently have 17 muscovy. They have been pretty good this winter. I only have 2 drakes.

Here's my white drake, and the white hen I hatched last year.

Oh yeah, and added to the order. I have 29 coming now, plus a dozen lavender Orpington hatching eggs, plus the dozen turkey eggs, plus the 4 goslings. Live birds come the week of June 1 so I don't need to brood very long.

My blue drake is a bit more ugly, but he'll do. This was last fall. He needed to molt.

He isn't as nice. I like his colour though..
