We're getting our first rain of the year/season.

Muscovy are generally more mellow than mallard based breeds. 43 ducks is quite the handful regardless of what breed. I currently have 17 muscovy. They have been pretty good this winter. I only have 2 drakes.

Well, 2 drakes would be great with that ratio. When I had 43, 28 were drakes because I would take in the ducks no one wanted. I thought my farm was different, everyone would live in peace. Boy was I wrong!! Ugh. But, I was brand new to farming...had to learn a lot the hard way. Now I’m not so wet behind the ears and I’m willing to let stuff go....for the good of the rest.

He isn't as nice. I like his colour though..

I think he’s gorgeous!! I had 7 white and black...they are my favorite...I never saw that one like yours...I’d get one of those in a heartbeat!! I hate the claws..they will shread you! But, they are very laid back, very tame, and quiet. That goes well with my hubby. So, that would be what I’d get. Plus, I love how the black feathers shimmer green in the light. I think the red knobs on their heads, are

ugly, but, I don’t care...lol
