Will be collecting 30, but this silkie who is broody is a small banty Silkie who maybe able to sit on 8 Silkie eggs.

No...I definitely wouldn't. Ducks are too wet with water..

My Silkies can only set maximum 8 eggs and usually 6 fits better under them..

I hope I get 3-4 broodies. I have 2 Bantam Silkie hens, & 3 medium-sized Silkie hens. If I have to I'll use a regular standard hen to sit on more eggs.

If six fits under her better, then I'll do that.

I have 2 people who want silkie chicks from me, I'm only keeping 3 chicks as grow outs for color genetics experiments.
