Hello..good morning everyone.
I looked them up it says they may reach 90 cm high. They're quite an aggressive breed too. Hopefully you have the proper knowledge on them so they don't cause harm to your current flock. Especially since you have silkies and I know they're a very docile breed.I'll find some pictures for you, I don't have any of the Malays yet.
I found a breeder who raises them, & they say they're the least aggressive of any game breed. They even protect the flock, & and are hawk fighters. They'll even protect other roosters in the flock. The breeder carries imported birds from India. He/she lets them free range, because they require lots of exercise.I looked them up the largest recorded is 90 cm high. They're not a very big bird like a jersey giant or Brahma.
Be careful is all I'm saying. Shipped eggs are another issue. Hopefully they pack them good so they actually hatch. I meant that they're the biggest chicken breeds. The Malay is quite scraggly looking. It has no meat, it's just tall. The average height of a Brahma rooster is 2.5ft - 3ft tall. Tallest one stood 66cm or 2.1ft tall, this is an old record.
