Bielefelder/Cream Legbar Cross

so both breeds are both auto sexing so if you crossed them to get an olive egger is it possible they would also be auto sexed?

I would just use a cuckoo female something over/under something else solid and make sex linked OE... instead of worrying about auto sexing...

Sorry for not answering your question... I will have to contemplate the things I know about the two breeds you mention... off the top of my head I think, no... But it's great that you are THINKING about fun projects!

IDK about the olive egg part because I don't know how dark of eggs the Bielefelder lays but the auto sexing part will be correct.
Might be a bit of slight differences in the chicks but auto sexing will be like the rest. Dark chipmunk striped females and lighter faded pattern males.

I hatched some recently, not sure on egg color with 100% but she sells the cross as Sage Eggers. Bielefelds lay a lighter shade of brown eggs, so they should lay a lighter green shade. I could tell the cockerels from pullets at hatch, but I would say it would depend on how well the parent stock auto-sexed.
