My local breeder (MN) has a few standard Bielefelders for sale that hatched in June. He has very pretty birds. See Ron the cockerel in earlier posts.

Spring Creek Heritage Farms in Bellingham, Washington. I haven't bought from them, just found them noodling about on the internet awhile back.

I saw that right after I made my post, lol. I had no idea they were that expensive.

The breeder I posted about charges minimal for his heritage breeds. He has CCLs, Bielefelders, Wheaten Marans, and some BCMs. He’s trying to create a sex linked cross that lays green eggs so he usually has a bunch of “MarsBars” (EE) for sale. That’s what he calls them. I bought several and their nice birds. I also bought his heritage breeds and they are spot on to the breed SOP. He’s local to me so I don’t know what or how he ships but I highly recommend him.

I'm only interested in the standard sized Bielefelder's.

I didn't know there was another color until now.I love the crele and barred look .The Genetic Hackle roosters are gorgeous(raised for their feathers)but all their energy goes into producing feathers so their poor layers.

If you like to go fishing, those feather's would probably be good to use for making the lure's?

The Bielefelders are just better for me because they're good egg layers in comparison!

I understand that. I was just mentioning that thought for the use of any extra cockerel's that you might cull.

This is the ebay seller I bought the egg's from over in Georgia. She's crossed some Naked Neck's with some of her pure Bielefelder's.
