Green legs definitely means that the bird is not a straight bred Bielefelder, but we will have to wait until it is completely feathered out to tell whether or not it is heavily mixed.Yes, greenish looking...
Uh oh.... What does that mean?

Thank you.Green legs definitely means that the bird is not a straight bred Bielefelder, but we will have to wait until it is completely feathered out to tell whether or not it is heavily mixed.
I can understand how you feel. With so many trying to mix and match the breed's for egg colors or "to make their own breed", I would imagine that more of this will be happening, and few breed's will be pure anymore.Thank you.
This hadn't even been on my radar until today.
He came from McMurrays. He’s a very good roo, but lately he likes to go after my shoes- they’re new runners and have a reflective marking but better than sandals around him..lolSpatch is gorgeous. He's got a lot more color than my Biel roos. Where did you get him?
Def looks off and comb is big for a Biel pullet. Do you know what the mystery chick was? Here’s a pic of mine at 5 weeks (perched on my legs): male, 2 females.Yes, greenish looking...

Yes, and those look to be correct at that age.Def looks off and comb is big for a Biel pullet. Do you know what the mystery chick was? Here’s a pic of mine at 5 weeks (perched on my legs): male, 2 females.
Here’s a pic of my cockerel in the foreground-note the comb, lt color around eyes and head, notable barring.I moved my chicks out to their spot in the coop yesterday. The move was traumatic, but they LOVED their new place!

They love the dust bath. I'm going to get a bigger one for them today.

Someone on another thread wondered if this was a cockerel (5 weeks old). I said I didn't think so, as I bought pullets and Biels are auto-sexing at hatch.
But... has anyone ever had a Biel pullet-looking chick who was actually a cockerel...? (I hope not...)
