Been hopping from cream legbar, to lakeshore Egger, to here! Trying to figure out what my (I think) cockerel is! I was originally told crested cream legbar, but at 1mo it has no crest development at all. What do ya’ll think? Bielefelder cockerel?

Cute chickie... My bieles have more yellow in them from what I can tell. I'd expect to see some crest by now, but I've never had CCLs so can't say for sure on that either. Might just have to see what he grows into!

Do you know at what age they start to lay eggs? I have two myself, never raised them before.

I just had a pretty good hatch on shipped eggs and am very excited to have some Bieles too!

@GreenCh1cken it's my understanding from reading up on them thay they usually start around the 20 week mark like most of the heritage breeds that went onto creating them.
How old are yours?
