Unfortunately it didn't work quite as expected. They arrived-two tiny chicks (2-weeks-or less) in OH with no heat pack and the pullet was already dead. They will send a replacement, I'm sure, but it was very disappointing.

Just got 9 Bielefelders from Sunbird Farm in CA won the auction for 8 with three pullets, Brice sent me an extra pullets so now I have 4 pairs and an extra roo a gracious man indeed. So excited to watch them grow!!.....mark

The Bielefelders are in their new coop with access to both fresh air, sunshine and fresh grass. Will post some pics tomorrow...mark

I recently purchased 6 pullets and 4 roo's Beilefelder chicks. They are now nine weeks old today. They are beautiful and very sweet birds. Can anyone tell me at what age do they start to lay eggs? Thanks

They should start laying between 6 and 8 months. Mine started laying at 6 months. Others didn't get any eggs until8 months.
