Big and Little Pet Peeves

That's one of mine too. I also hate when another driver pulls out in front of me close enough that I have to at least tap my brakes, then turns back off the road 1/4 of a mile later.
I also don't like when people have a tag sale and never take the sign down! That's litter!

That I can't take my very well-behaved dogs (others opinion not just my own) into all the places I see whining, screaming, destructo kids.

I have to pay extra in hotels but a two year old is free

and in todays society said two year old is probably allowed to be louder and make more of a mess, where I would get charged extra for "cleanup"

Oh yeah, and the soccer/baseball/whatever function kids (all ages up to teen) can roam the halls running and yelling at all hours, but god help me if my dog barks at the noise

AND I positively HATE loose dogs, especially seeing them dead on the side of the road

I hear ya there. Can't stand that thing! I only use it in "emergencies"...but I don't really need it. I'm gonna get rid it of it one day, but old habits die hard!

My pet Peve? Our wonderful government taking away a parents right to discipline their children. Then blaming the parents when the kids don't turn out to be little angels. Punishing parents for trying to raise their kids to be upstanding citizens then wondering why junior turns out badly.

I kinda reckon that you do what you can but each person has his or her own programming. THey will end up what they are regardless. You have influence, but that is about it.

However, you have uncovered a pet peeve of mine I didnt realize I had. SO I stand corrected on my own post of earlier.

My pet peeve is our collective willingness to allow the government, or some other ruling body, to take care of us.
We used to shout, "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death."

Now, our lament has become:
"Someone Needs To Pass A Law."
